2. Processing of Personal Data in the App
a) Downloading and Technical Use of the App

When downloading and using the App, technical system data is processed by the respective App Store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and automatically by our App (e.g., IP address, device model, operating system version, date and time of access). This processing is technically necessary to ensure the functionality, stability, and security of the App.

  • Legal Basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Legitimate Interest).
b) Registration and User Account Creation

To use extended App features, creating a user account is required (minimum age: 16 years). We collect and store:

  • Email address
  • Password (stored in encrypted form only)
  • Voluntary profile details (e.g., name or username, if provided)

This data is processed to set up your account, manage your credentials, and provide the functions of the user account.

  • Legal Basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (Performance of Contract).
c) Push Notifications

If you agree to receive push notifications in the App or device settings, an anonymized device identifier (Device Token) is assigned to your device. This enables us to send notifications about new events, announcements, and updates directly to your smartphone.

  • Legal Basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (Consent).
  • Revocation: You can disable push notifications at any time via your smartphone settings or within the App settings.
3. Data Transfer to Third Parties

Personal data is not transferred to third parties unless:

  • You have given your explicit consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).
  • It is necessary for operating the App (e.g., hosting and server providers bound by data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR).
  • There is a legal obligation to share the data (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR).
4. Data Storage Duration and Deletion

We store your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the specified purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. Account Deletion: If you delete your user account (via the App settings or by messaging info@dasistevent.com), your personal data will be promptly removed from our systems, provided no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

5. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Access (Art. 15 GDPR): Right to obtain information about your data processed by us.
  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): Right to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): Right to request deletion of your stored data ("Right to be forgotten").
  • Restriction (Art. 18 GDPR): Right to restrict data processing.
  • Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR): Right to receive your data in a structured, common format.
  • Object (Art. 21 GDPR): Right to object to data processing.
  • Withdrawal of Consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR): Right to revoke given consent at any time for the future.

To exercise your rights, an informal email to info@dasistevent.com is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

6. Data Security

We employ modern technical and organizational security measures (including encrypted data transmission via SSL/TLS) to protect your data against loss, destruction, manipulation, or unauthorized access by third parties.
